CITVN Coop is a peer-supported community of formerly homeless people helping homeless people who are in recovery from addictions.

Our social services include:

  • Meeting online in InTheRooms 12 Step groups and local 12 Step meetings

  • Social services coordination among homeless solutions providers and housing authorities

  • Assistance with paperwork for housing, public welfare programs, online job application and SSA disability determination

  • Peer advocacy for those experiencing difficulties interacting with government, public institutions and housing authorities

  • Sober house referral and funding of indigent beds

  • Technical support and no-interest revolving loan finance of new Oxford House democratic peer-supported sober houses

Within 28 days each month, we average over 7,000 website visits, process and refer 261 calls that result in referrals to local homeless solutions service providers, admissions to addiction treatment centers and sober houses. We process government and housing applications, tax returns, write resumes for members and provide peer advocacy representation.

CITVN Cooperative is an Ohio nonprofit cooperative business operated by former homeless people who are in long term recovery from addictions. The business is organized as a 501(c) tax-exempt social cooperative business. We are fully self-supporting. In keeping with Catholic Worker Movement principles, we do not accept government, corporate or philanthropic grants. Our primary source of revenues are our own personal incomes, the net operating income of our nonprofit cottage industries and small donations from churches and local benefactors who wish to be personally involved in our community.

We are available to speak with your Church or group about recovery ministry. For more information, please call (937) 938-5784 or email Stephen@Catholic-ITV.net
